In this project, I designed and developed a landing page for an on-demand dry-cleaning and household cleaning service app. The goal of the landing page was to attract potential users, provide key information about the app's features, and encourage sign-ups.
My Roles & Responsibilities
As the Lead Software Engineer for this project, my responsibilities included:
- Designing the layout and user interface of the landing page.
- Implementing responsive design to ensure the page looks great on all devices.
- Writing clean, efficient Vue & Nuxt.js code.
- Ensuring fast loading times and optimizing the page for SEO.
- Integrating analytics tools to track user behavior and engagement.
Key Objectives
- Attract Visitors: Create an appealing and informative landing page to capture the attention of potential users.
- Showcase Features: Highlight the key features and benefits of the app to inform users.
- Encourage Sign-Ups: Implement call-to-action (CTA) buttons and sign-up forms to convert visitors into users.
Design Process
- Research and Inspiration:
- Analyzed competitor landing pages to identify best practices.
- Gathered inspiration from design websites and trends.
- Wireframing and Prototyping:
- Created wireframes to plan the layout and structure of the landing page.
- Developed a high-fidelity prototype using design tools like Figma.
- Development:
- Translated the design into code using Vue & Nuxt.js according to client specification.
- Ensured cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
- Testing and Optimization:
- Conducted usability tests to gather feedback and make improvements.
- Optimized the page for fast loading times and better SEO.
